Pub Entrance
Welcome. As an expat in a 'dry' country one of the most missed institutions
is the 'English' Pub. We spend much of our time trying to recreate the
atmosphere. The areas below loosely cover various aspects of how we try
to entertain ourselves.

The Bar
Nearly every 'dry' expat will have their own particular recipes. In fact conversation may be dominated by such subjects. These pages contain a few of our own concoctions plus a slection of popular cocktails / mocktails that can be made with ingredients 'readily' available.
Expat Recipe Book
WARNING! Only 'brew' that which is legal in your country!

Bar Snacks
Creations that will stun your guests. 'You must have been in the kitchen all day' they will exclaim. 'Nonsense' you reply 'it only took a few minutes'. Ha! Who are you trying to kid. Believe me, the person who writes the timings
for recipes has lost their grip on reality. All recipes should include washing-up time. However, this small collection should be tasty and memorable for the right reasons.

Pub Games
Whilst I am allergic to physical activity (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!), I am not averse to a little mental strain now and again. On these pages you will find puzzles and brain teasers. Also,
the Quiz Party pages. For those of you prepared to get out of your seats,
I might even try for a traditional bar games area.

Beer Garden
Outdoor living. Warm balmy evenings, the scent of exotic flowers and the
barbeque.

Toilets
Humour. The British seem to have a fasination for 'toilet' humour. I hope you will find more of a mixed bag on these pages.

Pub Paraphanalia
In other words the miscellaneous bits that don't fit in elsewhere. Fonts, graphics etc.
